I came to realize and except the fact I am lesbian. Before when I still dated males, I just could not seem to please them. And no, I don't mean in the bedroom, I mean at all. I did not feel comfortable around the males I dated, and so it would sometimes hurt him/them, and make him/them feel unwanted, unloved, and uncared for. I to be perfectly honest, they were. I did not want them in any way, other friends. I did not love any of them, and I cared for them only as friends, nothing more

The only way I've ever changed my behavior is making myself let go. I've always been in control of my life and don't ever want people to think I'm taking advantage of them. I'll meet people at the movies or restaurants so they don't have to go out of their way to pick me up. I'll split the check or pay so they don't think I'm cheap or after their money. By letting go, I'm allowing myself to be picked up or allowing the guy pick up the check. It seems like such a small thing, but that's huge for me.

I tend to drive more carefully when I'm with him, I am more patient to other drivers. Also I make sure not to be catty or gossipy when I'm with my man. It's okay to be a little bit of a gossip when you're with your best girl friend, but I just don't think that there is any need to act that way around your guy.

I wouldnt change my behavior to make a man happy. He should have fallen in love with me as a person and shouldn't expect me to change.
