It says my clor printer cartridge is missing but its still there. It said it after I refilled at walgreens. so how do i make the printer recognize the printer cartridge.

Most printers give us some kind of message when we use generic cartridges, but I wasn't aware it presented a problem with refills. Maybe the printer recognizes the difference with the formula of the ink.

I use brand names until the printer is out of warranty then go generic. Just last week I had difficulty installing a generic cartridge in my Epson. I just kept charging it and eventually the printer gave up and accepted the cartridge.

Remove the cartridge and reinstall a couple of times. You can also go to Dell's Community Forum and see if any other 924 users have had the same problem.
