oh yes it makes you do the oddest things like putting up with things you never would from anyone else. But also can make you go out of your way for that person on the nicer side.Feeling loved can give you such a strength to carry on and face countless horrors too so the power can be a kindly one but can also turn and bit u on the bum xxx

Of course! Love is a craving, and no matter what EVERYBODY wants to be loved and feel some purpose. If we were left to 'walk this world alone' without any human relationships, every breath of ours would be a strained, weak struggle. LOVE is a feeling of such speciality, you are given something to live for. Without LOVE, where would our source of inspiration lie? Wouldn't we all be moping around the street in grey rags, with our heads down and a frown upon our face? After all, nobody cares what you look like or what you have to say. I know certainly, I would be too afraid to enter this hostile place - I'd be cooped up indoors with all of my windows locked.
Today we live in a very intense atmosphere and with everything you do, there is a chance of wrong-doing. Uncertainty! That's where our family and friends enter, the hand upon the chest, our oxygen. Often things do wrong, but they are there (a good chance to see who your true friends are! The ones who stick around for the chaos!) and support you.
Thank You! :-)
Take Care, now..

I'm in love, and it has a very strong power over me, whereas I can do things I wouldn't usually do, all for that person. The power also makes me an entirely better person myself. I suppose that's a power isn't it?

yes definately, the power to love someone can be all consuming at the beginning, wains a bit in the middle of a relationship (after a few years) - and then becomes very deep. I consider this to be true in a relationship between two people. As for love of your children this has to be the strongest of any in my own opinion.

Love itself is a power

In the worst concept for loves utility value, love is a determinant not the power its self. In a better concept for loves utility value, competent love for the suffering may aid healing and guard against further unnecessary destruction.

According to Huey Lewis and the News there is, in all seriousness though the first time you hold your child and realize that you would die for them you will know that such a power exists.
