I recently went through this same situation...It is very hard to stop that person even with the police are involved because they call it "domestic" and usually nothing is done until it is to late...Since the girl is 15 please get her parents involved since she is considered a minor...I am no longer with my ex because he would not treat me the way he should've...It took a lot of guts to say get out of my life forever but I had to learn the hard way, I lost that baby and it hurts terribly...I wish her the best of luck and hopes your friend has a healthy beautiful baby!

Physical violence between male and female partners happens more often when they are stressed out, have problems, and the lady has some hormonal changes too.
All of this happens during pregnancy. And according to the statistics I've heard about, spousal abuse is more likely to happen during pregnancy than at any other time.
But the fact that he is beating her up is a bad sign of things to come. Once a guy starts hitting his lady, then he probably won't stop hitting her until she leaves him. And even after she leaves him, he may go after her and hit her some more.
At 15 years of age, your friend must have either her parents or some other adult as her legal guardian. And perhaps you should tell to whoever is responsible for her about the trouble she is in. Because she needs help and she probably cannot handle it on her own.
If you complain to the police by yourself, then very likely they will not listen to you. Only victims of crime and/or their legal guardians are allowed to make complaints like that. And you are not the victim in this case.

Call the cops. Guys like that are dangerous. Some guys think that is the only way to show they are a man. He may also resent her for getting pregnant (I know it wasn't just her). If he's going to beat up his girlfriend, he's a loser. Especially if she's that young and pregnant. That is exactly the type of person that will kill her, the baby or both. Get help fast. I don't care how nice he CAN be. He's dangerous.

She needs to leave him immediately. He's already hurting her and can end up doing damage or death to the fetus. Women that are in these types of relationships seem to have a hard time leaving. The abuser can sweet talk and apologize and then it will happen again.
Her parents need to be involved. they need to protect her. I would tell her family about this. She may get mad at you, but you could very well be saving her life and the baby's. I'd take the chance on losing a friend if meant saving lives. Don't wait, she needs help.

Call the police! The reason a guy would beat up his pregnant girlfriend is because he was either drunk or high. No sober man would hurt a pregnant woman. The real issue is why is she still with him.

Because he is an @sshole! If he was any kind of MAN he would never under any circumstance lay one finger on a woman to harm her. His @ss should be beat down. If she was smart she would get rid of him and call women in crisis turn him in before he ends up hurting her or the baby

This needs to go to the police. No joke. This guy needs to go to court and end up behind bars. For one thing, he got a minor pregnant. Secondly, if he's beating her, she'd be doing the baby a favor by putting daddy in jail. Don't let this continue. Don't listen to the, "But I love him," or "but it doesn't hurt that bad," or "but he's my baby's dad." This NEEDS to be reported.

He needs to be arrested and taken to jail. It is NEVER ok to hit anyone, man or woman, and especially if she is pregnant. This is a sign that she should leave him and get a lawyer... seek total custody of her baby. He is trouble now, he will be trouble later after baby is born.

I think guys who feel insecure in themselves have to find a way to dominate. She should leave him and get a restraining order against him. Report him yourself. She is only 15 so is still a minor whereas he is over the age of adulthood. Also, it is statutory rape for him to have had sex with her.
