you. because your questions give me something to do in the afternoons instead of rotting away in front of the tv. because they keep me in practice. because i can make myself laugh when i answer them. because when i make myself laugh there's no one else in the room that can tell me i'm lame, or that i'm trying too hard, or that i'm too juvenile, or that i'm desperate for attention. because they make me feel like i'm on my way to possibly making a big difference in the world when i get my career. because, then, i don't think about my aspirations being ripped to shreds. because they teach me how to make the best from what i've been given and have fun besides. because that's gonna pass over to real life, too.

Wow! There are so many. I'm sure to leave somebody out. Miss Me? was my very first contact on YA. QueenFairy 1 befriended me, and introduced me to several, most of whom I talk to via 360, and see less often on YA. Cowboy's comments on jokes and photos he sends are a scream. LadyHazy held my hand (virtually) every day for a while. MoRaJa and Buddy and Amelie always come through with something that makes me feel good. TJ mixes good common sense and outrageous humor. Plus, he's a good old Kansas boy.
Loveofmylife has the most amazing 360, and asks the most insightful questions on P&S. Sometimes her questions just stop me cold in my tracks.
Probably the most influential are Silva and SunnyMac. I forget which of them first got me involved in writing stories in Words and WordPlay, but the two of them have been mentors and friends. Thanks to them, I'm just a big 'ol geek who spends weekends on my computer trying to write. Gee, thanks guys!

That is a personal question and I am keeping names private.
I have been fortunate to have a few contacts that are genuine, honest, down to earth people. I have studied their profile and seen consistency in their type of answers. We email back & forth. We have a lot in common. They are kind, loving christian people, no cursing or obnoxious incenuations.
I am very grateful for one particular person.
I am a better person because our paths crossed.
Then I encountered one on y/a, can't be bothered.
That one left a thorn in my side.
Win some & Lose some.

Well, here is my list... Whatchulookinat, Disciple, Lady Harley, Quella Bella, and all of my other contacts. I've enjoyed meeting some very nice people on here.
I work at a place that is VERY boring and meeting all of these people on line here has actually made work something I look forward to. (because I get on Y/A at work)...
And a special thanks to Lady Harley and whatchulookinat! I love you guys! You two are so kind, and keep me laughing! Ya'll are the best!!!

Jesus Christ =)
He made an impact (huge impact, meteor impact!) on my life.
But, check this out...it's true.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin."
I'm whispering "I was lost, "
Now I'm found and forgiven.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
and need His strength to carry on.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and need God to clean my mess.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible but,
God believes I am worth it.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain,
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow..

Miss Sunshine! Thanks to her (and, to a lesser extent, Silva and TUBA), I've had a series of really wonderful adventures, starting with getting stuck in an elevator with Hayden Panettiere!
