How much do you think the Clinton's profited from the suffering of the Iraqi people while helping to support one of the worst dictators in modern history?

Scooter worked on Rich's case concerning his charges of tax evasion, not illegal oil sales from Iran and Iraq.

Nice try.

Its a known fact that Saddam was pumping oil into Syria and selling it on the open market. TotalFinaElf's CEO was indicted in France for selling the oil and operating a slush fund that paid politicians to turn a blind eye to the sales. Marc Rich was accused by the United Nations of selling "oil vouchers" under the oil for food program of which the Clinton's were large recipients of this money.

Keep spinning!

Marc Rich, a fugitive, was pardoned of tax evasion, after clemency pleas from Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, among many other international luminaries. He was required to pay a $100 million dollar fine and waive any use of the pardon as a defense against any future civil charges that were filed against him in the same case. Critics complained that Denise Rich, his former wife, had made substantial donations to the Clinton library and to Mrs. Clinton's senate campaign. According to Paul Volcker's independent investigation of Iraqi Oil-for-Food kickback schemes, Marc Rich was a middleman for several suspect Iraqi oil deals involving over 4 million barrels of oil

This ignoramus wrote "How much do you think the Clinton's profited from the Iraqi people while helping to support the worst dictators in history"

This utter ignorance/stupidity is the norm for conservative/Republicans on this board.

First by the time Clinton had become President, the Gulf War was over and Iraq and Saddam were under severe restrictions/sanctions and Clinton and the Brits were constantly enforcing the huge "no fly zone" that we now know now prevented Saddam from ever again developing WMDs .

There was NO chance of the Clinton's making any money off of Iraq and certainly Clinton kept Saddam in check for eight years WITHOUT WAGING AN ILLEGAL WAR BASED ON A PACK OF FILTHY BUSH LIES THAT HAS SEEN THE SLAUGHTER OF OVER 400,000 INNOCENT IRAQIS.

Secondly, between 1973 and 1990 ,the US completely supported the piece of crap Saddam militarily, politically and economically.Even when the US and the world discovered that Saddam had committed genocide against his own Kurds, the US not only did NOTHING but deliberately forced countries ti not support a UN Resolution that would havre condemned Saddam.

Now quess who was in the White House during this period?? Well money grubbing, corporate lovers BUSH AND REAGAN of course who did everything to make Saddam HAPPY.

We all know about Rumsfeld trip to visit his friend Saddam in the 80s and everyone knows just how thick the Bush family is with the oil rich wealthy Saudi family DICTATORSHIP in Saudi Arabia/

While the Democrats of course recieved donations from the oil companies,it is general knowledge that it is the Republicans that by a long shot get more money from the oil barons than the Democrats.

Remember the OIL BARON himself Cheney is VP.

Now go away you ignorant bothersome gnat .

Do the Republicans care that Bush Jr., Bush Sr., Reagan, etc have profited by supporting dictators all over the world?

The links don't work Sport.

*Funny how Scooter Libby was Rich's lawyer huh? And how several other prominent Republicans supported his pardon?

But then this is all ancient history anyway - another case of CDS?
