If you just came out of a relationship, it might not be in your best interest to find someone else right now. Still, before you get serious with anyone, you need to be sure that the person you are with has the same goals that you have. If you are looking to marry and settle down, than that is who you look for. You also want to be able to communicate very well with the one you want to spend your life with. Nothing can tear a relationship apart more than a couple that doesn't truly speak to each other. Anyway, there are several other things to look for in a guy and I am sure that the next one you find will be the one. Good Luck!!!

Amanda, good men are everywhere you turn. The best way to meet a good man that you are compatible with is to go about being yourself and doing what you love. Then the right one can find you being you. I might suggest reading some books on dating, though. Nothing will scare a good man away faster than saying you want to get married. Let them get to know and fall in love with who you are first, then marriage, if it is right, will happen. When done right, marriage is a sacred bond that needs to be totally agreed upon by both parties and God.

What do you mean by good? Handsome, wealthy, funny or something else. After four years I would think it better for you to find out about you.
There are so many things that you can accomplish for yourself first. Take classes or volunteer somewhere. When you start meeting new people you just might be surprised at the interesting men you meet.

well to be truthful with u u need to get out of ny. never the less there r a lot of good men. but u cant fine them in a club or any where like that try that on line datting thing.also u may pass one ever day where u work .u just got to know where and how to look for them

Give it time before getting into another relationship. You just came out of one that went no where. If we rush into something we will regret it later. Relax and before you know the right man will come along.

Do your research, pick the kind that fits your needs and sign on the dotted line!
You may get a "lemon" sometimes but in the end, if you are try to yourself, you will get one that will share many miles with you!

try meeting new people through friends. if they're the friend of a friend, that means right away you have at least some common ground.
also, i don't know what your work situation is like, but coworkers can be a good resource for meeting new people as well.

What about friends hooking you up?
What about Grocery stores?
that's where my ex met his girlfriend.
When you're not looking for it, that's when you will find it.
