I'm a fellow Canadian and from what I have read on ITV website she does in fact kill Charlie. I don't recall why tho. I kind of think she finds out about him and Maria, but she is just fed up with Charlie being Charlie. The actress was leaving the show anyway from what I have read so I guess they had to do something so they had her do that and she will go to jail. Go to the ITV website and you can find out stuff there.

Tracy did kill Charlie. She said it was in self defence. But she has a trial and ends up in Prison. Both actors wanted out of the show. She was having a row with Charlie and wack him over the head during a fight, when Tracy ask him a few questions about his affair with Maria.

She kills him because she finds out about his affair with Maria. She plans it for quite a while to the point of even becoming friendly with Clare so that she can weave her abuse alibi. She tells Dierdre the truth but when it comes down to it Dierdre can`t bring herself to lie in court and Tracy is found guilty and sent to prison. Just want to say Hi from Montreal!!!!!
