Will I experience problems with all of my computers being on the same LAN if: A few of my computers are hooked up to a router, and the rest of my computers are hooked up to an ethernet switch which is hooked up to the original router?

I have run this configuration also and had no problem with the DHCP. I didn't have to assign static IP's. If you have any printers connected directly to the switch or router, I would give them static IP's, though.

No. Should be no problem. I am running a similar configuration. I would recommend you set static ip addresses to your pc's rather then let the router assign an ip address.

that's config. is just fine. Just make sure your switch is at least 100MB switch.
