The first thing that Ms. Pelosi would do is take the Oath of Office, and then get briefed on all things presidential. Then she would be busy making funeral arrangements for the former President and Vice President, and declare the nation in a state of mourning, because, like it or not, they are still our leaders.
Once that is out of the way, in about a month or so, she would then be free to appoint new Judges, as well as a new cabinet. and staff.
Then she could work on the work of the PEOPLE.
I think that she would listen to the "generals on the ground," ALL of them, and do as a majority of them say, not just the ones who say what she wants to hear.
But I do not think that we have anything to fear in losing both the President and Vice President. That's because Mr. Cheney is "The Six Billion Dollar Man." He's bionic, and almost any part of him can be replaced.
They have had problems with programming a suitable human brain. One can simply tell from the current transplanted bionic brain in Bush. Why do you think he doesn't wear that earpiece that he wore in the debates. He gets his orders directly from Karl Rove via radio.

Better question is, "If Bush's brain fails and Cheney loses his heart will anybody notice the difference?"

Let's see, if Bush is the Scarecrow, and Cheney is the Tin Man, then I guess Pelosi would be the Lion. So, she would get some courage and throw all of those lawbreakers we call The Bush Administration in jail.

Before you queried us on Yahoo Answers, Bush and Cheney were pitiful. Let's face it, they were in serious need of rehabilitation. Nancy Pelosi has established her intelligence beyond question. She would indeed do a marvelous job. I wish that no harm comes to the Chief Executive and his Vice President. I can wait for the both of them to merely walk out of the door. Hopefully, by then, they will have acquired appropriate health professionals to keep them in optimum health. I just don't like their brand of politics. She will have to deal with the corruption charges brought by Gonzo as his last act as Attorney for the RNC. She will also have to hire some competent help.
