No ,John lennon once said the beatles were more popular than Jesus,true in that more people had knowledge of the beatles at that time in the world.Out of 6 billion people most of us will be known by a handful of people and remembered by no one.

if you really want to be. i think that everyone was put on this earth for a reason. and if we find that reason and try our best at it once we die everyone will still remember us. i mean im sure our generation will be famous but all of us as individuals ? if you find something you want and pour your heart and soul into then sure. just make something outta yourself =]

What is fame? I am famous to my family! My kids think I am a super-hero. It won't last forever, but for now I am happy with my fame.

if everyone made a youtube video of themselves, then yeah, probably. seems lots of unknown people are getting famous for no reason.
