um, yeah. that would mean you are hired. You'll probably fill out the paperwork on your first day of training....or maybe not. that paperwork will just be needed by the first payroll, so not everyone hands it out before anything else happens with your job!

Typically if you are scheduled for training, you do have the position. In all likelihood you will complete the pre-employment paperwork upon your arrival the first day of training (I-9, W-4's, etc.)
Best of luck to you!!

There is usually lots of paperwork to complete when you are hired for a job. It can be done on your first day of working, but it has to be done regardless.
Was there any discussion about what you would be paid? Hours? scheduling?
If so, go ahead and go to the training site, but before starting to work, you really need to get the paperwork taken care of.
there are tax forms for federal and state, there is an INS I-9 form, there are personal information forms, etc.

Since she has given you details on when and where to start your training, i would think she wants you trained and if after the training, if you are a good trainee and can learn things fast, she would hire you formally. The question now to ask is, how long would the training take? You would not want to be trained indefinitely and supply cheap labour for minimal wage.

You should be paid while you are in training and you need to fill out an I-9 form. Call her and tell her you didn't get one to fill out and ask if you will get one on your first day and if there is anything else you need to do.

You will probably fill out your tax forms and such on your first day. Be sure to take two forms of ID with you, like your driver's license and Social Security card. If you don't do it that day, be sure to ask on your second day.

It's kind of weird that you don't even know if you're actually hired at the place. You didn't ask her?
