Strikes are the sign that the management thinks it can win in an industrial dispute and the workers prove them wrong. The postal authorities have come to a special agreement with its staff about the Harry Potter book deliveries. The postman were made to understand that it could affect their own children and they've agreed to jusr deliver the new book. No letters though until the inevitable collapse of Capitalism. Sorry about where you live.

Harry potter books will be despatched on time ,the strikes will not affect this.
I talk as a postman -we are doing extra shifts to meet the demand .
The strike is a whole other issue .
I know who gets killed off by the way !

Save yourself the trouble of waiting, just go out and buy it, The postal people are always looking for reasons to deliver your mail a week late.

I've seen postal workers who are very very lazy. Today I was at Avril park and one of the mail carriers was parallel parked there with the sliding door open just watching the ducks. How does she ever expect the mail to be delivered? How upsetting, the misuse of my federal tax dollars. I guess they should replace the black postal workers with the Filipino workers who actually want to work.

No idea - just hope that our postmen (and women) can get through the floods.

I wasn't aware that there was another strike this week. There was one last week but only for one day, they should have caught up by now!
