Good horror movies are a think of the past. The Grudge was avg. at best. Most movies are geared to today's gorefest.
Saw, the hills have eyes, Jason, Freddie, etc.... Those are not horror films. These are slasher movies. The horror films were the old ones. I'm young and I watch them all of the time. The original Night of the Living dead with the lights turned off still gets to people.

the horrorfest films are okay, but if you want big name movies you should check out the texas chainsaw massacre movies or the resident evil series
