What would Al Gore or John Kerry have done if they were president on 9/11 2001.?

What would John Kerry have done if he was president on 9/11 2001. He would probably say we deserved it and did nothing. There are no democrats wanting to protect us now and don’t expect them to protect us from the next attack. If Bill Clinton would have taken one of the many chances he had to take out Bin Laden, we wouldn’t be in this war.

If Gore or Clinton had been president, we probably wouldn't have been attacked.
Remember, Bush ignored the information he had.
There are no Republicans wanting to protect us now, and don't expect them to protect us from the next attack. They failed us on 9/11, they'll fail us again.

Bush doesn't even care about catching Bin laden. He admitted that.

Why? Because they would not have ignored the terrorist threat BEFORE 9/11, so the attacks would not have happened, so there would have been nothing TO DO.

Bill Clinton never said no to an operation where his military and intelligence experts said he had a legitimate shot at bin Laden.

Now, the conservatives all howled "Wag the Dog!!" whenever he did, but Clinton never caved in.

If Bush had exerted 1/10 of the vigilance and effort Clinton did against terror, instead of brushing off all the warnings and calling his administration "obsessed" with bin Laden, 9/11 probably would just be another day, like any other.

Yeah, there wouldn't have been a 9/11. If Clinton had done a little something after the attack on the USS Cole or after the first attack on the Twin Towers or had taken out Bin Laden any of the at least 4 times he could have, there wouldn't have been a 9/11. But since both Al and John would have reacted in much the same way as Bill did to attacks on the US, there not only would have been a 9/11 but several more attacks on us by now. Al and John would have done absolutely nothing but make speeches---just like Bill.

First, if Clinton had went after bin laden, YOU and other republicans would have hung him in effigy. You would have called HIM a terrorist.

Now, if Gore or Kerry would have been President, we STILL would have went after bin laden in Afghanistan. Only two words in your ridiculous comment were correct. They would have DID NOTHING to Iraq, since Iraq did nothing in the first place. They would have decided to CAPTURE THE PERSON WHO CAUSED 9/11, NOT LET HIM GO.

If george bush would have taken the opportunity to take out bin laden, he wouldn't be considered incompetent...

Either of them would have formed a committee to decide what to do about the attack, and when they received the decision of that committee, they would have formed another committee just to be sure that the first committee made the proper decision. By the time they agreed on an action, there would have been several more attacks and again, neither of the two mentioned would have done anything at all except form more committees. After all, that's the democratic way

We will never know what they would have done. We do know what Bush did and he failed to get Bin laden and he failed to create a pro-american democracy in Iraq which was his only reason for starting a war with Iraq. He has misled the american people time and again. He has stripped away american rights and destroyed our image around the world because of his communist tactics in prosecuting this war on terror.

Gore would have held a news conference,and claimed that this is what we deserved for creating green house gas's and causing the world to heat up!!!! Afterwhich, he would have declaired that every one had to buy CARBON CREDITS FROM THE COMPANY HE OWNS, and would have sent Alquida Nancy (Pelosi) , Taliban Harry (Reed), along with Lesbian Leader Hillary, to Bagdad to ask Saddom and Ben Laden, how much money would it take for THEM to accept our appologies for making EVERY WORLDLY WRONG,, RIGHT ??

get your facts straight. Bill Clinton tried to kill Bim Laden twice. The CIA would also not sign off on Bin Laden being behind Sept. 11th. Clinton, Gore and Kerry have a brain, that makes them different from Bush. They wanted the CIA and FBI to put it in writing. Bush was told by Clinton about Bin Laden, he ignored that warning. Bush was also told by a PDB report that "terrorist were determined to attack America" and did nothing. Bush was even told they would use comm. planes and that they were already in this country, that means they knew the names and address's of those that did Sept. 11th. before it and did nothing.
