cutting videos....?

can i send a video to someone who can figure out how i can cut it in like 10 minute parts?? i've tried a few different things but it keeps saying that the file isn't supported by the program that i was using...can anyone help me???

Need more info in order to answer. What type of video are you trying to edit? What programs are you using?

Just tell the person Ur sending it 2 what pgm U used 2 split it so they can use the same to recompile it.
