It's a real "twisting" of your perception.

But I think the answer to what you are really asking is NO, it's not "real".

The world is a magical place. You go into your living room and hit a button and talking people from far away appear on a screen. You can reach into you pocket and pick up a small item, hit a few buttons and talk to anyone, anywhere in the world. You can open a small notebook and click a few buttons and have immediate access to an entire library of information. You can go out and jump into a box with some wheels on it and suddenly you are careening down the road at 80 miles per hour. The human race has been around for over a million years, but all of this incredible magic has only recently (within the past 100 years or so) been discovered. We live in an extraordinary time of magical possibilities.

Yes magic is real. One definition of magic is:
the art of producing illusions
Magic is in the believing the unbelievable. I am a huge fan of magic and even though I know how a lot of the magic tricks are done it is the watching of the performer that makes it truely magical. Even though you know what someone has done is physically impossible and your brain just can't reason with it that is the real magic.

Sorry, but it is 'all smoke and mirrors', sleight of hand, show business only. Even amateurs and hobby tricksters (notice TRICKSTER, not real) are into show or entertainment for fun. Go to a 'magic shop' if you have one in your town (look in the phone book under "Magic" in the yellow pages). It is fun to fool your friends with some tricks that work themselves, sort of.

Not in the sense you're thinking of, no. Unfortunately.
Most magic tricks (levitation, disappearance, etc) depend heavily on sleight of hand and distraction.

But there are other sorts of "magic" at work in the world - wonderous, miraculous things, if you only know how to see them. The older I get, the more I am convinced there is something amazing going on just beyond our perception. =)

There is some magic that is real like black magic that is bad which that pertains to satin. Stuff really happens but it is very bad and shouldn't be practiced. Seriously

Magic as we believe it is not real. However, I do believe that there are super-natural powers that do affect each of us. Right now, I am praying for a miracle.

There is no scientific evidence that magic exists. But... the human mind is amazing, and there is a lot of mystery out there. Enjoy the mystery.

most magic is slay of hands-tricks
movie magic is done by the film
yet there are miracles and I have done some with Jesus help and beyond belief-healing people casting out deamons and more

and there is other bad magic that uses deamons to do stuff, and you got to be careful. they can get a table to raise up and stuff like that.

and remember the greatest miracle comes in relationship first from above-yet be careful =When one person gives in to another all their heart as you are so willing to do, leaving little room for themselves or our creator, they blind themselves to reality. We can get ourselves into a fix-like drugs a person knows its killing them but their feelings overwelm their mind and they go back for another fix, the only way is help and refocus.
Romans 1 teaches not to be ashamed in life and of the gospel, to be thankful and worsih the creator instead of the created.
feeling good about yourself helps you feel good about life and the future.
Truth is, many are willing to give up their future for the relationship of the present no matter the cost. "There is pleasure in sin for a season, but then cometh the judgement." When we believe a lie so we can throw away the truth we get problems
Hebrews 13 in that chapter once you let Jesus into your heart to save you from sin and be your friend "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee."

You got to decide if your worth a true love first from above,

peace in Jesus care and prayer John 3 asked forgiveness of sins and Jesus to come into my heart to be my best friend, amen as promised in Revelation 3:19&20 as He says "I love you and knock on your heart door to come in and deliver, and be your friend when you ask me to.

best wishes and prayin for you, David

sometimes....actually it is the magician who is practiced enough that can manipulate your way of thinking into believing what he wants you to see.
I still wish I could twitch my nose and get a purse full of money though
