If I had the chance to give up Bonds' 756th home run, I'd lob it up to the plate, let him hit it a mile, and then tell everyone I gave it to him. Cheap deserves cheap.

Then you would be the pitcher in the hall of fame with an * next to your name along with steriod boy! I think that as long as he is still allowed to play, pitchers should intentually walk him at every at-bat. Four outside pitches would be OK...one fastball high and inside to the noggin, priceless!

Well, the fact that no pitcher really want to be the pitcher who hands barry bonds the record pretty much answers your question. This is history were talking about, and trust me, you do not want to be the pitcher that gives up no 755 to Mr bonds.

The reason why they won't do that is no one really wants to be the pitcher that gave up the infamous homerun to Bonds. Really though, A-Rod will likely break Bonds' record anyways, so we should just try to forget about Bonds, soon enough he'll be forgotten.

No professional pitcher in MLB wants to be the one on the mound when he breaks the record. The competitive nature of these players, at the level, all believe they are better than the hitter or they wouldn't be pitching in the majors.

Im my own opinion, I wish that EVERY pitcher for EVERY team that he has to face the rest of the season would intentionally walk him. He does NOT now - nor will he ever - deserve the honor of having the home run record!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"cheap deserves cheap"

That said it best!!!!!!

Bonds was lucky the All-Star Game was in S.F. He wouldn't get that reception in any of the other stadiums!

And, how about those TV Announcers cramming it down our throats about how Bonds deserved to be there? Who were they trying to convince???

Do any of you naysayers have proof that Bonds used anything. Any proof whatsoever.
