don't procrastinate- you will get behind in your work
make friends with the other grades (trust me it helps to have friends who know what to do xD)
don't let drama get in the way
food fights are fun....but save it for the last day...
have fun- if you don't, high school will be better..

um... i remember my first day of junior high sucked because nobody would talk to me (I'd gone to an elementary school that wasn't in the same district so i didn't know anybody) we all wore uniforms, so there wasn't a whole lot we could do to be individuals, but my advice to you is to just be yourself. It's confidence that attracts people to you, not pretending to be something you're not. it's easier to act like yourself 100% of the time instead of only half the time. then you don't have to worry about what the other you should be thinking. lol. and if you don't already speak a second language, take it in middle school. it makes life in high school much easier. :)

Work at your studies. Keep a low profile and keep your eyes open. Don't be suckered into talking against someone or something until you know what they are about and how you really feel about them. Don't be a follower. Be yourself, be friendly....respect yourself and others. You will be fine. Most important of all, look for joy in everything and have fun. Join extracurricular clubs; learn to play music; sing. This is going to be the best time of your life...make the most of it.

People make High School a big deal but Middle school was worse for me...so much drama so if you can make it through middle school drama you can make it through anything! aka - don't get into drama if you can't think on the spot, have good comebacks, or can't handle the pressure.-Also people talk about clicks don't join one make you and your friends your own click.

well first don't expect everyone 2 be nice. when i first went all the seventh and eighth graders were mean. of course i made friends w/ them. if they tease you, make a funny/catty comeback. and they'll give you respect.

Don't try to fit into any of the cliques. They think they're cool now but, after highschool, they're nothing but fat losers. Find your own identity. I wish I had.
