msi 975x mobo? ports?

Question

i have the msi 975x platinum motheboard. can you tell me if the motherboard has a firewire ieee 1394 and usb ports on the mothebroard?

where the ieee 1394 and the usb 1 and usb 2 firewire ports are loacted on the motheboard?

where are ear and mic ports on the motheboard loacted?

does the motheboard have an intergrated graphics card?

The motherboard does have ieee 1394 , USB 2.0 ports and the sound is built on the motherboard. It does not have intergraded video.

It seems that the MSI 975X motherboard has been superseded by the 975X Platinum PowerUp Edition. The manual for the updated version can be downloaded by clicking on the url below. I would suggest you read it thoroughly before you put your computer together, as it's important to get things right.

The IEEE 1394 port and 4 x USB 2.0 ports are all visible on the back panel. There is also a header for further IEEE 1394 port next to the PCI slot nearest to the edge of the board.

The earphone/speaker port (green in colour) and microphone port (pink in colour) are also visible on the back panel.

The motherboard does not have an integrated graphics card, but it does have two PCI-Express slots. This means you can either use a single PCI-E graphics card or run two in ATI Crossfire formation.
