If it happens again, you should definately say something to the manager...but I would wait until you get home, or at least at the end of your meal so you don't find a "present" in your food.

Write a letter, or at least write down what you're going to say and be detailed. You don't want to get the girl fired if she was having a bad day (she still shouldn't have been rude to you, but give her the benefit of the doubt) but the manager needs to know about the poor service so he can correct it. And unless she's like that all the time, he'll probably just write her up with a warning. But what if you were a food critic and you were treated like that? The manager will want to know. Just be really calm and nice about the situation and more than likely, you'll get a free meal out of it!

I had a similar thing happen only I was ignored period. There was only one couple in the place besides me and after sitting there 1/2 hour I got up and walked out. I have never been back. The waitress was doing nothing at all. I have also let anyone know who will listen. I was new here and had never been there before.

It's happened to me before and I was about to curse the waitress out, but my husband asked that I keep my cool--so I did. Speak to the manager of the restaurant about the unfair treatment. Then, check your hubbie if he openly enjoyed the flirtatious, preferential treatment and the blatant disrespect of you. The bottom line is you got muffed by a waitress when she is paid to cater to all patrons equally.

Is your Hubby hot? If so, that'll do it. No excuse though. She should give equal attention. More than likely women decide the amount of the tip. So she should have played more to you.
I once left a note to a server that said "you would have gotten a bigger tip if you smiled and were polite" Maybe it gave her something to consider. BTW I was with my teenage son and she didn't smile at all during the whole dinner.

Well I just started waitressing about a week ago and that is a big no no. That is their job. They need to check and see if you need anything and to ask how your meal is. I would ask to speak with the manager and just let them know what is going on.

omg i hate that. What i'd do is just ask the manager for another waitress... i mean they do have set areas, y'know, but just to alert the manager to the problem and then maybe that betch could get her shat in gear.

Maybe it's because you're an alcoholic demon?

Most servers are working their butt off and often women are completely b**ches to them, maybe your husband actually seemed nice.

If this is not the case, shake it off and don't go back. Don't fire the poor girl.

Call the resturant and ask for the manager. Tell him what happened(and her name). You don`t have to tell them your name
