Okay...all this month,my family has been planning a vacation. The vacation is mostly gonna involve being wet and getting in the pool.The day before the trip,my period comes on!!! What do I do?? I was really looking forward to getting in the pool. I would feel kinda uncomfortable while being wet and having a period. What do I do,what do I do!!! Should I just sit on the sidelines or is it safe to get in.That kinda of worries me, getting in,it seems kind of gross with everyone else swimming in what they think is clean water and there I am contaminating it. Suggestions please!!!!!!!

I really dont want tampons!!! I've never tried them and I dont wanna feel uncomfy.

tampons are the only way to go if you wanna swim..just keep using them, once you have worn about 6 of em you can't even feel them anymore!!! i love em!!!!

Using a tampon if you are comfortable with trying them can allow you to get in to the pool along with everyone else. If not comfortable with the idea of trying tampons I would recommend sitting along the edge of the pool and just put your feet in. I used to do this a lot so that I could still feel like I was enjoying the pool but without having to worry about my periods.

Tampon tampon tampon!! You'll be fine wearing a tampon, and change it often enough so you don't leak. If you never wore a tampon, start practicing NOW!
