I don't think there is a right age. If you are good enough, you could join a band now. Fame comes with success. Success comes with practice. Practice takes time.
If you look carefully, many people who seem to have become an overnight success have had a very very long 'apprenticeship' first.

When you are able to handle the commitment of working very hard and very long hours. When you are able to realize that you are a gifted human being and not let your ego run away with you. When you are able to accept your gift with grace and dignity and acknowledge others with the same gifts as well. The best of luck and blessings on you.

People who seek fame are never happy. No amount of fame is enough. Eventually, the fame that does happen interfers with life.
When you understand your motivation for the desire for fame, your life will be extremely enhanced.

After highschool, in my oppinion. But if you're really great in school and can juggle that while being in the band, go for it.

well it doesn't matter cause well have you seen the naked brothers band there little but know how to play so it dosen't matter!!
