Because they were elected for a specific purpose, and they don't have the b*lls to get the job done. They bent to the will of a president who has an approval rating <35%. There's no excuse for that.

First, the American people were sick of the direction the Republican party was taking us. They voted for change and we are still waiting. Raising the minimum wage and helping with student loans are positives for the Democratic party, but overall, American voters are sick of all politicians in Washington.
And as long as we continue to vote the 2 party system, expect the satus quo to continue.

Becuase they get hundreds of thousands of bills a year. Even with a approval rate of 13% they are passing alot of bills. Most bills don't have any merit anyways so they don't even get to the congress. Hope this helped!

the media wants it that way. believe it, nobody gets their news from their own observation. when was the last time you sat in on a congress meeting? i know i havent. so i cant really say how i feel about it. I dont have the facts, i only have what is presented by a VERY biased and ratings grubbing media.

because when something is run by democrats there is nothing but hot air. no work is accomplished, mystery "projects" without titles to the tune of a million dollars just magically go through on appropriations bills. democrats have no plan other than to say democrat goooooooood. republicans baaaaaaaaaaaaaad. higher taxes gooooooooood...rich people baaaaaaaaaaaad. though nancy bin pelosi is the richest member of the house of reps. chiane cheinstein, babs boxer, joan carry and others dems are all millionaires or billionaires. thought the dem party was only the pooooooooor people? oh no more liberal hypocrisy? nah. never.
