I have instruction to double- click my comp icon, then to click View on the menu bar and then to click options. My problem: there is not an "option" selection on any of my explorer view menu bars.Please response ASAP. Need this info to complete a college class report.

The instruction should be.......

Open: MyComputer
Click: TOOLS
Click: FOLDER OPTIONS


Windows95 and I believe Windows98 use to have the " VIEW / OPTIONS " setting. WindowsME and WindowsXP do not. It is under the TOOLS option in the newer Windows.

How old is that book ?

Not sure what you are trying to do, but if you need the "Folder Options," you can find that under the tools section of windows explorer. Perhaps if you could explain more of what you are trying to do we could help you a little better.

If I think this is what I think it is.........

The options menu is under tools.... not View.

If I'm way off...... Sorry.
