Because someone told me it was? i dont think so because they say actors have been acting in films since they were very young , very young. so what do you think?

At least you know the right thing to do. Get lots of experience acting. Look around and see if there are any acting classes near you. Two years of experience is a good start IF you get two years' experience during the two years. 17 is not too old to start. People will say a lot of things to dissuade you. If you can stick with it, then you may have a chance.

I think 15 is old enough to hear the truth. You'll never be a famous actor. That's a silly dream. If you really want to be an actor you can. But you're very unlikely to ever make a living doing just that. You'll need another job. That's the reality. It's a lot of work and sacrifice. You need to want to act more than you want anything else. And I mean ACT not star in movies. Have realistic expectations and you're less likely to end up disappointed.
