They get about 3 inches long, but there are always exceptions, bigger and smaller.

Not very - just a little over two inches in most cases, although males can get up to three inches. The males will be bigger than the females.

males are the larger ones i believe, they also have the fatty head.,

my largest red rosy was an adult male that was MASSIVE, 5-6 inches long.

But that was again a breeding male.
