No, it's not. Some stories never end, like a true love. I feel like I am living a love story sometimes with my future wife. For me, it is more how the story begins (or shall I say "begun") then it is how it will end

I think so. That's the part that usually screws the whole thing up. I hated the West Side Story's ending when basically all the main characters died. I watch movies to get that momentary escape from reality. They're not helping! I like the mushy ones where everything works out and they live happily ever after. Awww.

well i can't wait for the ending, if your talking about books, its read read read then the ending comes and its over and your sad its over, if its a good book. So no, it isn't the most important thing, its the WHOLE story :-)

(and some nuts on the side)

No, but when the ending sucks you tend to not like the movie since thats the last thing you remember about a movie. 1408 was a pretty good movie but the ending kinda sucked. So it might make you think it was not as good as it was.

yup it is. i mean who would read a book if they knew the last 5 pages were ripped out. i mean thats when everything comes together and you get the main point of the book.

to me its the center of the story, the development, but if its about a tale, it the start, if its about a movie its the whole package,

so that depend on the story

bye

Nope, the beginning is the most important. If it starts too slowly and doesn't grab my attention, I won't read it. It doesn't matter how good it is, it'll never be read!!!

The end is no where as important as the journey.
