Libertarians don't oppose Conservatives. Libertarian is where the real Conservatives have gone.
You're confusing Libertarians with LIBERALS which is like confusing the crips and bloods with the KKK.

I have no idea what you are asking Do you mean neo-cons (Bush, Thatcher etc.) and libertarians (ron paul) Well Neo-cons believe in socially conservative, stronger military yet still less taxes Libertarians on the other hand are mostly laissez-faire, and they believe that the governement does not have the right to impose any laws that infringe on ones liberty That is the problem with the political spectrum, both could be considered conservative. If you are asking what a republic is, well it is just a form of parlaiment, where the head of state is not a monarch.

LMAO! Well, I'm a Conservative Libertarian, and don't feel I'm in much conflict with myself. ;o) Sorry - just had to throw that in there.
My response is A. You can educate 'til the cows come home - doesn't mean you'll change any minds - that's why I think C would be a waste of time. As for B - well, if they would at least respect each other, there wouldn't be so many conflicts.....

I don't know, the divide between these two segments of the Republican party is at a critical level, nation-wide. Some conservative message boards are banning libertarians and vice-versa.
Fact is, modern 'conservatives' have a big government agenda and without libertarian support they can forget it. The democratic party will destroy the republicans when it comes down to Christian socialism vs Secular socialism.

Neoconservatives are liberals who believe in fascist government and defending Israel over defending the United States.
Paleoconservatives believe in a limited Federal government but they also believe in government interference in social issues.
Libertarians believe in a stripped down almost non existent Federal Government.

idk ... and furthermore, I hear conservatives make very liberal statements these days ... and liberals make very conservative statements these days
to the point where it doesn't really matter which you are, I still don't know where you're coming from until you explain yourself
seems to me the trick is to find the hidden agenda, and expose it ... so we can all move on and try to make common sense decisions
and not to be repugnant but, seems to me if we could rid ourselves of the religious ideology and dogma, it would make things allot easier

I would tell people to ignore labels and political parties and start dealing with each other as individuals.
And on that subject, start actually listening to what other people are saying -- debate issues on the merits, not on how you categorize the person speaking.
