Wouldn't now be the best time ever to start up a new bank, with free banking and only 5-10 pound charge. Surely it would get about 3/4 of Uk population signing up.

I'm not planning to start one myself, I can't even get a credit card, I'm just trying to put in idea into the head of someone capable.

The Bristsh public are like sheep .. even though they are being ripping them off left right & center they still go back to the "shrearing shed" (Bank Credit Cards, Overdrafts, Personal Loans) for more ...

Yeah Sure, but few things you have to watchout for, First is Minimum Capital adequacy, Basel 2 implementation, Third having equity of 30% of total Holdings, Anyway if you are really serious, Then you can contact me on my email, since I am also planning to start a Bank which would actually work like trading hub...love to hear from you, Take care bye
