Lil, i love my cats, i have 3 cats, (i told you that before) and they are all silly, bratty but they are th joy of my life!
each one of them do special things different from one another. the oldest one, orli, he is the stucked up one, lol like he wont care but he has the ability to understand what i am saying. one time i was at the living room and i asked him if he want to eat, he ran instantly on the kitchen and went to his plate and waited for me. The second one is Reina, she is a doll, she follows me everywhere, every morning she is on my door waiting for me to get up, even when i shower she will also wait for me. the third one is Tina, very adorable too, she knows the word "ouch" lol when i say that, she will come to me and caress my feet! lol

I was a cat person until the last one. For no medical reason....she snapped, as in, went totally crazy. She was attacking my mom and kids. The vet found nothing wrong with her except she was beyond control. Because she was suddenly so vicious we had to put her down. The quality of her life was gone. I may be a cat lady again one day but not yet. The loss of the last one still hurts too deeply.

I think cats and kittens are sweet little things. People that compare cats to dogs should really rethink that. Its like comparing Apples to Oranges becuz they are totally different and provide totally different things. I love both dogs and cats and feel that a family should have at least one of each. They are both wonderful creatures that need lots of love and provide lots of love as well. But are great pets.
That's my thoughts anways...

Hey! I myself am more of a canine person. I just bought myself a new puppy a couple of weeks ago, and woldn't give him up for anything, But i also like cats i once had 23 cats at one time:)

cat people aren't going to like this, but, i don't really like cats. i don't HATE them, pretty neutral about their presence. i grew up w/ a dog, no cats. I'm sure that has something to do with it.
people who say that cats are more independent & dogs are more work are absolutely right. that's why i LOVE dogs. what other creature tells you LOUD & CLEAR that you have just made THEIR DAY exciting just by walking in the door?? i have 2 labs... they are BIG & SMELLY, eat a lot of dog food, leave hair everywhere, occassionally tear up the garbage & steal food from the counter.... yes, people, they are BAD sometimes. at times i want to kill 'em.
but most of the time my Daisy & Zoe sleep with me, snuggle with me when i am sick... lay their heads on my lap & look up with those big puppy-dog eyes & seem to shout "Mommy, i love you." makes it all more than worth it. i love my girls.

I like both but right now only have dogs and they don't like cats so it wouldn't be fair to either to bring a cat into my home.

I love them too. I had to put one of mine down a couple of months ago and it was so sad. I've been thinking about getting another one, but I'm not home alot during the day and don't think it would be fair.

I love cats. They are very independent and lovable at the same time. My cats always greet me when I come home.
