Say you want to try-out for a disney channel show and get an agent and you've already particapated in 3 theater plays and took alot of acting classes. Is that all the experince you need.

3 theater plays is not anywhere NEAR enough, especially if you weren't a lead/supporting role. A lot of acting classes are good; but you should participate in 15+ plays before even thinking about an agent. And can you sing? Disney looks for people who can sing, hence most of their actors becoming singers.

You need lead roles in plays, not "one-liners."
You should have performed many 10-12 lead roles at your Community Theater.

You also should have performed 10-12 leading roles in school productions.

It helps if you have copies of the reviews you got in the productions.

Acting classes are only good if the acting teacher is well-known and not local to your city. Some of us in NY have had the opportunity to study with celebrity acting teachers/coaches.

it really depends on who you r auditioning for. some may wont more on screen experience others don't worry as much about that as long as you have had some experience and are good at it try to find out about the person your auditioning for.
