Seen it...In a sense yes, everything around you, everything you've ever heard, or ever thought you knew is a lie. In a sense, yes, we live in the matrix, but I wouldn't exactly call it the 'matrix', but rather a dream feeding off one another. Perhaps we're just a figment of our own imaginations. Involving no God, no supreme being, nothing of any greater power, we are all our own. We see what she choose to see, we feel what we choose to feel, we live life the way we choose to live it. It's all our choice, not a supposed 'God's.
Live with fulfillment and happiness, do not read into the psychotic illogical lies. We decided to live, here, right now. Otherwise, you'd be dead. 'Choice' is our purpose.

The philosophy that the movie represents is not a new one. In fact, I equate the movie with the very processes that humans experience. Where people perceive reality as dismal and dark there is usually fantasy, daydreams, dreams and other mechanisms that provide a "matrix" where anything is possible based on our programming.
