And should the US boycott them if they dont reinstate them. I know it was because nobody in Europe plays baseball but without the U.S's advertising money the olympics arent nearly as big.

I wish they hadn't too. Look at the World Baseball Classic --- it was a great idea but if the players can't get excited then why bother. The pro teams were not real cooperative and the colleges can't put together a competitive team.

Baseball was an olympic sport when the games where held in the USA this is because the host nation is allowed to choose a couple of extra sports related to their country.

just like softball, it's cause the usa dominates at it.theres really not much compition anywere, the closes we have is japan. people don't like to get there asses kick all the time. we only like it so much cause we are the ones kicking ***!!!

as for the guy above me, you have to have more than the usas vote to take it out. and why would we.

it really sucks!!!

olympics is about internationally famous and favored games and baseball is not. just famous in America
