Large recyling garbage bags make for a nice impromptu poncho. You have a choice of colors ....clear, blue or white also ....you know try to match your out fit..."Yeah...I wore it on purpose!"

This happened to me and my husband not long ago. We were at a theme park with three toddler grandchildren.

There was no thunder and lightening so we danced all the way through the park, singing to the tops of our lungs and jumping in ever puddle we could find. We used nothing to shield ourselves from the drops and had a blast.

Trash bag. When I worked in a prison we had to walk to Timbuktoo to our work sites and if you forgot or had no umbrella a trash bag was better than nothing. You just kind of held it over your head like a newspaper.
