What I mean is if someone else from yahoo answers asked you on a date and you knew him/her would you go? I just wanted to know how this place compared to online dating services.

Well first off, this isn't a dating site, so it can't really be compared to dating sites. If you are here to look for a date, then you are in the wrong place. Most people come here for answers to real problems or to help people by answering their questions. It seems callous and shallow of you to use this to get dates. Do you find it easier to prey on those with problems or low self-esteem?

In some ways, it's probably better than a dating service. There are no expectations of the people you "meet" on Y!A, and everyone is more laid back. Think of it as more of an online party of sorts.

I have never chatted with someone on yahoo answers, I suppose anything is a potential way to meet someone, but I would not go based on an avatar!

oh my friend can do that but i dont im married, but he tells me stoires. they should make it where kids have their own site too and one for the porn people and another for those of us who just enjoy helping others with real issues
