Goto Lincoln's website for a car manual with detailed instructions like when I went to GM's website for my Malibu.

It's most likely a leak in the air springs. If you're really insistent on finding our for yourself, if you can weasel yourself under the back of the car far enough (just after shutting it off) spray the air bags with a solution of soapy water. If you see large bubbles on the side of the bags, congratulations, you've won yourself a potentially very expensive replacement. Or, as an alternative, the aftermarket sells a set of springs that just pop right into place where the air bags went. You then usually have to clip a wire at the air suspension module to disable the check suspension light. This costs usually less than half of the cost of replacing the airbags, and I've never had a customer come back and tell me they wished they'd spent the money on new air bags.

Find and correct the problem with the suspension. Then have the fault code cleared if it is still on. Autozone would be able to help you out. Good luck.
