A 1960 Franklin half in low grade is worth 7 to 8 times face value for the silver, dealers pay close to the 7 times. In almost uncirculated grade it has a value of $4.75 and in mint state 64 value is $11. The $305 price must be a coin that has been graded by a grading service and is very high in grade such as mint state 67 or it is an inflated price.
