What bad and good things I have to expect.

Goo things: Excellent roads, streets and schools.
Bad things: Higher than usual crime and a pawn shop on every corner.

It depends. You didn't name exactly where this town is located. IT could be a pretty quit town for the most part and the main traffic is for the casino. Or it could be an over the top town. Most likely in either case, the places close the casino will be heavily populated and expect alot of traffic int he evening and at night.

The local papers will have coupons for those casinos that cater to locals. You will find a lot of cheap entertainment options in town. There will be a wide choice of restaurants at great prices. There will be an obvious choice for where to go on a date or to take your spouse. Your taxes will end up lower because the casino is paying big commercial taxes.
Main streets will have more tourist traffic until the town widens them under pressure from casino owners.

If you have little self-control and like to gamble, then expect to be broke within months.
Also expect more traffic at certain times.
Not much to having a casino near by.

you can expect there to be a lot of people going in and out of there all the time. a lot of tourists and people who are generally just goin there to gamble and party. i wouldnt live too close to the action if you can help it.

Not much different. It's just a building where gambling takes place. You won't be infected unless you want to.
