The NFL better suspend Michael Vick. He is a sick human being and if you do not agree, you are also sick. If you fight dogs, you are sick. If you kill a dog by electrocuting, throwing it against the floor, drowning it, or any other horrible thing, you are sick! Michael Vick should at least be suspended for at least 1 year without pay. He may not have been proven guilty yet but look at Pacman Jones and Tank Johnson. The only thing is, Vick is being indicted by the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT! 95% of the time, they send the person to jail. If that doesn't say Michael Vick is a dog fighter, I don't know what is. I respected Roger Goodell when he went out and suspended Tank Johnson, Chris Henry, and Pacman Jones but you cannot suspend Michael Vick? Is it because he sells the most jerseys? Is it because he is a face of the franchise? Step up Goodell or you will look like a complete idiot. You have already backed yourself into a corner, now get out of the corner and suspend Michael Vick!!!

I could not agree with you more. Your post is fantastic. You summed up the entire situation, hit the high points, including the fact that those that don't see his participation in dogfighting and the mutiliation and murder of helpless animals is worthy of a suspension and a lengthy jail sentence need to get a package deal for some psychiatric help along with sick Vick.

do you remember the drama during the Olympics when Tanya Harding made the news, they held off until it ran through the court system before deciding if they would boot her( if found guilty) ,,
I'm in Atlanta and boy what a hot topic.. any mis treatment of animals is horrible , he should at least have to do service in animal shelters if not convicted
He hasn't been convicted look at the guys at Duke, look at the security guy during the 1996 Olympics, (the bombing)
Vick needs a life coach , and he needs to dump his so called friends and any low life family members

It is stupid to suspend Michael Vick before legal action takes its course. Look at what happened with the Duke lacrosse players. They lose everything and for what? Only to be proven innocent in the end. If we learned anything from the Duke case, it should be that we must wait until we reach a verdict in the courts.

The people who are writing against Michael Vick are the ones who are sick. Since when is the life of some dogs more important than that of a human being? What is happening to our society? Please wake up. Did Michael Vick own the dogs? If the answer is yes he had the right to do whatever he wanted to them!. Society wants to ruin a person's career over the life of a dumb animal. What is wrong with us. Do we not believe in God anymore? God gave man/women a soul. He did not give animals a soul. It is ok to hurt another human but please do not hurt an animal because if you do all the sickos will be all over you. It scares me that the life of dumb animal can cause so much concern. What about the life of Michael Vick and his family.Maybe he made a mistake but if they were his dogs or he had the permission of the owner it should not have been a crime. The last time I checked this was a free country. I think fighting dogs is sick but if that is what you like so be it. No human got hurt. Please let's worry about those who think this is the end of the world. They are the loons who need to be locked up.
