I have been with my husband for seven years, and every night for seven years have had to endure some kind of Simpson's episode. I actually am starting to think that the Simpson's is a cartoon chronicle of my life (LOL) anyway, I thought the movie looked ridiculous and that it was going to be one long episode but am starting to think it might be good. Only because my 11 year old and 5 year old walk around singing "spiderpig spiderpig, does what ever a spiderpig does" and it's actually funny. :)

the movie simpson is good and what do you mean by just a long version of the episodes? that just doesn't make sense

The Simpsons have lost their edge for about 6 years now. The humor looks very force fed, even the way they make the voices. They are no longer kookie, spontaneous, or witty. Episodes are very boring, and I no longer watch. So I believe this movie will not be good.

The creator said that its about Homer falling in love with a pig...sounds like the same ol stupid shenanigans to me- The Simpsons hit their peak about 10 yrs ago. I'm curious to see it, but I'm not gonna pay 8 bucks at the theatre to see what I think will just be a longer version of the show- I'll wait for it to come out on DVD.

I'm sure if you like the TV show, you'll love the movie. I personally fear that all the good parts have already been seen in the TV ad clips!

C'mon...it's a cartoon....there isn't any plot to a cartoon..it's going to be just like a Simpson's marathon...long!
