Perimeter of a rectangle=2x(Length+Breadth)
so we have
2{(7X+40)+(X^2+7X)}
2{X^2+14X+40}
2{X^2+4X+10X+40}
2{X(X+4)+10(X+4)}
2(X+4)(X+10) ans

2 * (7x + 40) + 2 * (x^2 + 7x) =
14x + 80 + 2x^2 + 14x =
2x^2 + 28x + 80 =
(2x + 8)(x + 10)

Or

2x^2 + 28x + 80 =
2 * (x^2 + 14x + 40) =
2 * (x + 4)(x + 10)
