The fluid level in my silva marine compasse appears to be at a lower level than i am used to seeing, A freind has the same model as mine and says same. There is no visible signs of leakage. Could this appear like this as result of changing barometric pressures. It has become quite the conversation material at the local watering hole. We are located on the sea of Cortez app. 200 miles south of the border on the inland side. any help with this would be great.
Thanxs Birdman

Hey birdman. Listen...the barometric pressure is at odds with the resistance of the only force left in the shallow side of the northern hemisphere. As a result the leakage will be more significant when you are in a downward trajectory. I would suggest loosing the left handed bolt just below the flashing red light.
