Hopefully you didn't set the stain by shampooing it.
Hair spray as mentioned before may work or blot with rubbing alcohol. If it is heavy spot try denatured alcohol blot well and follow with a spotter carpet cleaner such as spot shot.

Blot the spot with paper towel and rubbing alcohol/surgical spirits, use a clean towel every time you blot. Do not rub it as it will make the ink pentrate deeper into the fabric/pile. It make take a little while but eventually it should all be removed leaving the carpet like new! Hope this helps!

In my experiance, the only way to make the carpet look better will be to replace that area. Sorry to be the one to tell ya, but some things just don't have an easy fix. Generally, you can lessen the intensity of the stain, but it will still be obvious. How about a nice rug to go over it?

MMMMM.... complicated situation.. i might attempt back to saturate the stain with rubbing alcohol and allow it take a seat and then blot with an absorbant easy colored towel.. save blotting till you are not getting anymore ink on the towel.... or you could saturate the stain with water and use your moist/dry shopvac and save extracting the water till the stain is sucked up! in simple terms make valuable to eliminate the paper filter out till now utilizing for moist purposes.... stable success

Try spraying with an aerosol hairspray. Then use a damp cloth.

Try hair spray, but it may be too late since you already shampooed. always pre treat.
