when the half blood prince came out walmart still had books on the shelve for a whole week. i use to work at walmart and i noticed it. i have to work till 11 tonight or worse till 12 and the latest i get to walmart will be 1230.
k heres my question will walmart have alot in stock in case i don't get there by 1230 would i still get a copy.

You will get a book!, Don't worry. I know alot about wal-mart and the way they work(won't go any farther on that subject!) But anyway there are at least 3 trucks per day that they unload and i will promise you that you will get a book. Each truck will have the books on it. Making sure to not over ship to many. The warehouse knows exactly how many books to send from what goes threw the check out, and this happens in seconds. And walmart is one of the biggest (Get it out there type stores) You will not have a problem and if you do, just go back in about 2 hours it will be there! -- I am not a harry potter fan but thought i would answer the question (knowing what i do) to try for some points! Why not ask a friend at Walmart to hold one for you?

I think so.. I know many places stock many extras and since most die hard fans probably pre ordered theirs from a book store you probably have a good chance.

yea u might get one, everyone else went ahead and ordered it from book stores so that way they knew they already have it. so most likely you will get your copy.
