You can gently tell her or offer her mints or a piece of gum or something that will remove the ordor. Keep some tic tac - you take a couple and offer her some - gently.

there are very small glands in the back of the throat that accumulate particles of food hence causing chronic bad breath they can be cleaned daily with a q tip dipped in scope and rubbed over those glands removing the stinky matter. as for giving her the hint apoligize to her and say that you have that problem and if she ever smells your breathe to let you know tell her its not a big deal to you if she is honest that may open her up to you. make the problem about you not her

She needs to drink more water. Mint tea helps as well.
This is a tricky one. I worked with a woman who had teeth like tombstones with green and grey stuff in the crevisses where her teeth met her gums and her breath smelled like a corpse. My workmates wanted to use this internet site where you get them to anonymously send a gentle message telling the person they have bad breath.
You could try that if you knew she wouldn't know it is coming from you.
Go to this page.

Click on the link in blue to see the sample letter then follow the instructions.
Good luck.
PS. The site is legitimate even if it makes me laugh when I read the letter. We chickened out on my workmate, though.

Can cause bad breath is plaque and tooth decay, you can tell her to go to the dental clinic to have dental cleaning. There are some reason why others got a bad breath because of food they eat. Should used mouth gurgle so it freshes and clean the mouth.

I hardly believe that "cronic halitosis" is true to genetic origin... Snoop in her medicine cabinet and see what type of toothpaste/mouthwash she uses.... Buy her a tongue scrapper, that's where the "bad breath" hides.. If she's at your house, brush your teeth, scrape your tongue and use mouthwash around her.. Keep the same supplies for her at your place.... Or just tell her... That you are sensitve to mouth odors.. Give her a mint and be done with it already....

There isn't a good tactful way to tell someone they have bad breath! The nicest way to do it is to make a jokey comment after you kiss her. She will laugh but by golly she will get herself some listerine and a packet of mints asap!

Could be few things, 1,food she eats at home, 2. tooth cavity - rotten tooth, which emits the odor, or 3. there is a medical condition called Heletosis (I hope I spelled it right, probably not :) ) and than she needs to talk to her doctor

Sounds like she may have perio, it is a gum disease that causes bad breath and only a dentist can fix that. See if she will go to the dentist. Good luck, bad situation

She probably has gingivitis. I work with a girl that makes me literally sick to smell her breath even as she talks. Its usually from bad mouth hygiene. I wish there was an easy way to tell them. Yuck.

Give her some gum, or breath mints of some sort. Those hardcore "breathalizers" Listerine strips should do the job.
