People act like it would help, but people would still be selfish and thier would be lots of fighting even if their world veiws were nearly identical.
The only way to have world peace is the redemtive work of Christ in every heart, it would destroy selfishness and bring love when cooperated with.

No, a one world government would bring tyranny and war against other planets not like ours. If you are hoping for some sci-fi utopia where everyone sits around all day smelling the flowers, it will never happen unless scientists find a way of eliminating "human nature" from the human brain.

The only way to have world peace is a single dominant government and a powerful military/peace force ruthlessly enforcing laws. The death penalty would be extended to all violent crimes. Reproduction limits would by summarily enforced, including mandatory sterilization, mandatory abortion and infanticide. Prisoners would either be reformed or put into work gangs or executed. Violent or selfish tendencies would be treated with drugs.
