My neighbor asked me where she can get her windows tinted on her 2006 Honda Civic (2 doors). She wants a good job performed for a fair price. I told her where mine were done but she wants to stay close to our area (SW/Central) instead of driving 30 miles out of the way. Where would you guys recommend she go to?

In two of our cars, yes, they are tinted. They were tinted when we bought them. I don't know how dark they are, but it's never been an issue. We live in Arizona, and it does cut the heat. I personally could care less how it looks. I don't spend money to upgrade my car really in any way- no fancy wheels or exhausts or anything else for that matter, it just seems like a waste of money to me. Until I got my new car, I drove here for 10 years without tint. My husbands current car does not have tint, and he's just fine without it.

The East End off of Wayside has a lot of car related businesses. I work out there but can't give you a name. But, I would head south on Wayside to Harrisburg and ask the people in the Auto Supply there where to go. It should be better and cheaper there. Good luck.

try any glass place. they can tell you where. make sure light transmission is 20% or higher on the driver and passenger windows or you will have troubles with state inspection and also no more than 5 " from the top of windshield. either.
