Several years back I was watching a Super Bowl with my little kid and some woman showed her breast, last year there was a sexual instrument controversy, now the NFL is doing or saying nothing about this guy electrocuting dogs.

Baseball doesn't seem to have such problems.

What is your opinion?

Actually the new commissioner is doing a lot to try to straighten up the league. He suspended one player for the season and another for half the season already, and Mike Vick will face punishment as the case unfolds too.

I think, previously, they have attempted (and succeeded) in sweeping things under the rug. The new commish has offered a rather refreshing view on things as he has become something of a gunslinger in how he treats the guilty.

As for the breast issue...that was not the NFL's fault. They had no idea they were going to do that...and even if they did, people made a huge deal out of very little.

Funny how the breast was big and yet the Ravens have Ray Lewis who was, allegedly, investigated for a murder a few years back that no one mentions anymore.

As for the dogs...the NFL is keeping quiet until he is proven guilty. After that, this new commish is likely to basically drop Vick off at the next exit as the league continues on down the highway.

Has the NFL had family values according to your definition? If you actually saw some womans breast during the superbowl...how close were you to the TV??? If the media didn't say anything niether would anyone else...As far as other sports...um cheating on the wife seems to be a common problem...as do drugs, scuffles with police, and over all breaking of rulles...why single out football, just because mainstray media does???

I think sports in general is losing family values. The rock-star culture of being a professional athlete has done that. They have groupies, hang around knuckleheads, things like that and it's all sports not just football. And believe me, baseball has their share of problems. Back in the 80's it was cocaine use by people like Keith Hernandez, Steve Howe among others not to mention the current steroid scandal.
