If your doctor prescribed them and she knows you're pregnant I don't think it will be harmful. I had a urinary tract infection when I was pregnant too. No problems with the medication.

The last time I had what I thought was a UTI, four or five years ago, I just upped my water intake. I went on WebMD and did some research and realized that I simply was not drinking enough water (mainly coffee and diet cola). It helped. This was also years before I was interested in natural remedies as well. Since, I've upped my water intake (it's about all I drink now, especially while pregnant) and I've not had any further problems.

If you think you have a UTI and you think you are pregnant, see a doctor.

Well you need to first inform your physician that you are pregnant or to even see if indeed you are pregnant. If you are then let her know that you are taking these antibiotics and he or she will let you know if they're safe or not. More than likely they are safe because i took antibiotics while i was pregnant for a urinary tract infection and my child was fine. Contact doctor as soon as possible though. Good Luck and Congrats!!!

Most antibiotics will not effect your baby. UTI's are very common in pregnant women. If you are concerned you can call your nearest pharmacy and they can give you the information on that antibiotic, you can research the drug online, or you can simply call your doctor. As far as I know, being that I am pregnant and I have had several UTI's, none of the antibiotics have had an effect on the baby. Hope this helps!

Your doctor wouldn't give you something that would harm your baby. If you got the antibiotics from somewhere else, then you need to call your doctor and let them know. You could also call a pharmacy and ask them if the medication is safe during pregnancy. UTI's are very common during pregnancy, and you need to get rid of the bacteria. Leaving a UTI untreated can cause complications during your pregnancy and can be very harmful to you, since the bacteria can spread to your kidneys causing a kidney infection. Something you really DON'T want. Take care of yourself and your lil one! Good luck!

I would think that if you went to a doctor to get antibiotics and you mentioned your pregnant...he would take that into consideration. now if you didnt do that (IE got pills illegally, or didnt mention it to the Dr.) then you might wanna go see a Dr. to find out for sure.

OMG. Are you kidding!? You need to go to the hospital NOW. You're baby is in big trouble. It can't digest food from you without bacteria that you just killed.

You need to call you doctor and tell them what you are on and they will let you know if they are safe, if they are not, they should switch them.
